Info about Cramps
PMS cramps
I believe there isn’t even a single woman and man in the world who haven’t heard about the premenstrual symptoms. Why do I include men in this subject if this refers only to women’s body? Because sometimes men have to suffer more when women are experiencing PMS. This is because PMS is not only about a physical disturbance, but also comes with emotional sensibility too. How come? Do you remember one of those days when you have no idea what’s wrong with you? Everything upsets you, nothing goes right, you cry when you even only think about yourself or your marriage or your kids. You have a second of happiness and then the storm comes without any warning. And at the end of the day you ask yourself: What is wrong with me??? Sound familiar, right? Then imagine if you don’t know what is wrong with you how can your boyfriend or husband understand your moods.
We have good news. Yes, it’s something with the women, but it’s not their fault. They are moody, but usually they don’t exaggerate (or maybe some do). It’s just that period of the month when ovulating ends and menstruation starts. It’s that period when, as a woman, you kind of loose control of your emotional stability. You are angry and sensitive in situations when you should or wouldn’t normally. You start crying from nothing and you start having depression moments even if apparently you have no reason.
Unfortunately the emotional storm comes together with some physical problems. These can be insomnia, fatigue, acne, breast tenderness and even cramps. Most of the women that have menstrual cramps, start having them from the premenstrual period. There are not as severe as the menstrual ones, but together with the emotional sensitivity they can be seen as painful. Fortunately there are special medications that can bring relieve.
It is really important to know that specialists advise us to have a healthy life style so we can avoid these cramps and also the depression that appears in PMS. We should hydrate ourselves very well; we should quit smoking and drinking alcohol and also have a daily exercise routine that can improve also our physical and mental health. Of course, these are pretty general and women’s body defers from person to person, but we can take our precautions so we can calm down the annoying disturbance of this period.
PMS is indeed a very difficult period for each woman. For some of them it’s more than a period with cramps and headaches, it’s also about an inner storm they can’t control. All you need in this period is a good sleep, some good music and a lovely and understanding person beside you. Then you can forget about the cramps and about your depression and have a great period each month.
